The particle size of our products matches shrimp body size, in accordance with the various life cycle stages, from stocking to market. This includes Crumbles, Shrimp Starter, Micropellets, and Pellets. Both Shrimp Starter and Micropellets are VIMIFOS unique industrial developments.

Crumbles (Migaja)
Crumble feed is used from stocking to an average body weight of one gram. This is a highly digestible product that fulfills all nutritional requirements during this delicate starting phase of the shrimp grow-out cycle.

Shrimp Starter
A VIMIFOS unique industrial development covering the needs of the shrimp early developmental stage. This is a small-particle-size feed with high water stability that can be broadcasted using blowers. Shrimp Starter is used from 1 gram to 3-4 grams average body weight. Shrimp Starter allows users to decrease their consumption of higher price crumbles, while minimizing fines.

Micropellet
First designed by VIMIFOS in Mexico, other feed manufacturers have attempted to copy our Micropellet feed, due to its unparalleled success and producer acceptance. This is an intermediate feed between the starter and finishing stages, with a particle size adequate for farm shrimp juveniles, at the exponential growth phase. One kilogram of Micropellet contains 65,000 particles, which allows for an extremely even distribution of the feed at this stage of juvenile exponential growth.

Development
This feed is used when shrimp have achieved the juvenile size (8 grams in average), including 3 formulation series, specially designed for the shrimp load desired per surface area unit.

* Vitamin/Mineral Premixes

* Base Mix – Mixtures containing vitamins, minerals, coccidiostats, growth promoters, amino acids, enzymes, pigments, and more.

* Micro-concentrates – Products that can include the same ingredients of a Base Mix, with additional ingredients and additives such as phosphates, calcium carbonate, etc.

* Suplemix – A protein concentrate that, in addition to the ingredients and additives that can be included in a Micro-concentrate, contains top quality animal proteins.

* Pre-starters for broilers and rearing pullets – These products are manufactured in the form of micro-pellets, using high quality ingredients and latest generation additives, making the difference with other conventional pre-starters in this class.

* Conventional feeds for broilers and layers.

The VIMIFOS feeding program includes our lines of piglet-specialized feeds “Momentum” and “Vital Premiere”, targeting maximum early piglet performance from birth to 15 kilos in body weight.

Our swine product range is complemented with our Suplemix line for piglets, baby pig mix, and the “Lean Performance” range of micro-concentrates for the easy manufacturing of balanced feeds. This promotes the simple, convenient mix of macro-ingredients with all inclusive micro-ingredient packages, simplifying operative processes in the feed mill.

In addition, VIMIFOS manufactures different types of conventional feeds aiming the complete nutrition of swine from 15 kilos to final market weight.

We produce and market our VIMIFOS 21 brand of mono/dicalcium phosphate. In the manufacturing of this product we use top quality phosphoric acid by reaction with high purity lime, resulting in 80% monocalcium phosphate and 20% dicalcium phosphate. This product is packed in polypropylene bags containing 25, 40, 800, and 1,000 kilograms. It is also sold in bulk. This product has a granular form and it complies with heavy-metal international specifications, as established by the AAFCO for this product.

In addition, thanks to our strategic alliances, we have a broad range of products as exclusive marketers in Mexico, including American Protein Company (APC)’s Blood Protein and Animal Plasma; and Solae’s Profine-E, a soy protein concentrate. These products play a very important role in piglet nutrition.

Balchem – world’s largest manufacturer of choline chloride – allows us to offer, in an exclusive manner, their choline chloride in 60% and 70% dry formulations, as well as a 75% liquid formulation.

Other exclusive technologies that we offer include CitriStim, Natural Vitamin E, Biuret, and other products, as a result of our partnership with ADM.

We are exclusive traders of nutritional technologies including the Adisseo’s methionine products Metasmart and Smartamine. We also market amino acids, enzymes, bicarbonate, and several other products that complement our product range.

We manufacture and sale our Energy Feed brand of fatty acids.
