Our cultivated shrimp feed range has been created to serve every developmental stage of shrimp. Immunostimulants are added to our feeds, aiming the production of healthier shrimp, better able to deal with environmental challenges.

We have specialized Technical Service in this matter, and we maintain a collaborative agreement in aquaculture nutrition with Integra Nutrition Ltd., with shrimp culture/research facilities in Hawaii, Brunei, India, and China. In addition, we have our own bioassay room and one aquaculture research center (CIAV) in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, where we test every formulation before being sold.

We continue to evaluate new, alternative feedstuffs. This way, VIMIFOS fulfills its commitment to help our customers to improve their production through constant research and innovation.

VIMIFOS Poultry Division is committed to working jointly with Mexico´s poultry producers. Our primordial objective is optimizing productive parameters in their farms through efficient nutrition and excellent service.

One additional goal of our Poultry Division is providing advice and facilitating the activities related with the production of balanced feeds for the various poultry species. Therefore, we have different product types tailoring the way feed mills are organized in their productive processes:

a) Vitamin and/or Mineral Premixes

b) Base Mix

c) Micro-concentrates

d) Suplemix

The goal of our Swine Division is providing high quality products and services, allowing our customers to meet their production objectives with the highest efficiency levels.

This Division includes swine production/nutrition specialists, who develop strategic feeding plans, combining our different product lines with specific formulations tailored to the feedstuff availability and traits of each farm, with the necessary safety, precision and economy. This assures productivity, considering modern genetic and production system requirements.

All our products are manufactured at the necessary dose rates in order to fulfill the nutritional requirements of each swine developmental phase. Our product color-coding system offers the following advantages:

• Safety: Less confusions; easy inventory management/identification.

• Precision: Full dosages, facilitating operations in the feed mill.

• Economy: Precise dose design/management results in minimum micro-ingredient waste. Increased number of phases that reduce the cost of feeding and permits fulfilling more precisely the nutritional requirements of swine throughout the various growth/production phases.

VIMIFOS supports its package of swine products and services with excellent technical advice in the areas of nutrition, husbandry, health, quality assurance, reproduction, and information analysis. We also have outsource experts, both domestic and international.

Our Cattle Division works in the development of strategic products and services aiming to improve the profitability of our clients’ operations. We offer several different products and nutrition programs tailoring the needs of their farms, from a feeding program for a cow-calf operation to specific nutrition programs for improved milk/beef quality.

Starting in 1885, the technology developed by Moorman’s – later acquired by ADM and VIMIFOS – has created top quality nutritional products. VIMIFOS makes the most of this effort to complement 100+ years of research with service and support in the ranch, to assist those producers committed to achieve the highest possible return from their forage resources, by designing ideal supplements to offset basic nutritional deficiencies in the grass during every season of the year, thus obtaining higher profits in their cattle operations.

VIMIFOS is Mexico’s largest phosphate manufacturer for animal nutrition, and the only one dedicated exclusively to this type of production in the country. For more than 30 years, we have been committed to the development of animal agriculture in our country as shown by our investments in infrastructure, people and quality processes.

VIMIFOS facilities are dedicated to the production of 21% mono/dicalcium phosphate, ruling out any possibilities of contamination with foreign raw materials. The quality standards of all raw material suppliers for the manufacturing of VIMIFOS 21 must be previously approved by VIMIFOS. A quality assurance system has been designed, for us to supply the market with consistent, high quality products. In addition, all VIMIFOS products comply with AAFCO standards.
